Aliu is an expert on business planning and strategy having used this skill to lead the team that won the first edition of the Global Management Challenge in Ghana and finalists at the world edition in Russia. He was also the CEO of the Alpha team that won The 2011 Strategic Management and Organisational Analysis module completion organized by the Centre Energy Petroleum and Mineral Law Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland. He oversees the strategic operations of StarMarc

Before Co-founding StarMarc Ghana Limited, Aliu worked in Senior Financial Management positions in the Banking Industry with notable company’s like ProCredit Ghana now Fidelity Bank, Union Savings and Loans and Izwe Loans Limited.

Aliu holds an MSc in International Oil and Gas Management from the University of Dundee, Scotland and a Bsc Administration Degree (Accounting Option). He is an ardent of continuous professional development and is pursuing several professional qualifications notable among them is the ACCA.
